                    Tent Building at Home
                    
                    Yes, you will be camping at home during the Camporee this year, but you can do so under your own custom-made tent, shelter or camping
                    space. Build your tent/ camping space at home before the Opening Ceremony on 23rd December 2020.

                     Virtual Troop Campsite Building 

                    Just like any other Camporee, the participating Troops has to build their own campsites at this Virtual Camporee as well, but the
                    difference is that this time around you will be building your campsite virtually using the Minecraft App. Nominated representatives from
                    the Troops will be building their virtual campsites from 20th till 23rd December 2020.

                    Educational Objective – Working as a team towards a common goal and learning how to represent your team outside of the team.

                     Largest Christmas Party 

                    The Colombo Scout Youth Advisory Group (CSYAG) is hosting a Facebook Reactions based inter-troop competition during the Camporee called
                    the Largest Christmas Party Comp. 32 Troops have signed for this competition and the knockouts
                    will start on 24th December 2020. Go and Support your Troop!

                    Lead through Communication 101

                    We are pleased to announce our partnership with Toastmasters International – District 82 during this Camporee. The Toastmasters will host
                    a mini-webinar series on Public Speaking titled ‘Lead through Communication 101’ on
                    Saturday, 26th and Sunday, 27th December 2020 from 10 am - 12 noon through Zoom Cloud Meetings and YouTube. The webinars will cover the
                    content of the Speaker & Orator Proficiency Badges plus latest techniques used in public speaking endorsed by Toastmasters International.

                    Christmas Card Competition


                    Here is your chance to make a Christmas Card for your friends in scouting and spread the Christmas spirit. All Singithi, Cub, Junior and
                    Senior Scouts has the chance to take part in this competition held from 18th to 22nd December  2020 and the Top Christmas Cards from each
                    Scout Section will be announced and showcased publicly.

                    Youth Day

                    The Camporee Youth Day Event traditionally organized by the 75th Colombo District Rover Crew will be held on 28th December 2020 from
                    10.00 a.m. onwards virtually. Every year, The Camporee Youth Day Event focuses on various levels of capacity building and youth engagement.
                    Similarly, this year we are committed to focusing on the 'Environmental' Sustainable Development Goals, and the Digitization & Entrepreneurship
                    aspects in the post-COVID era.

                    Senior Scouts, Rovers of Colombo and Invited Districts will be joining the Youth Day Event for this year.

                    Educational Objective – Developing knowledge on SDGs, Digitization & Entrepreneurship as well as learning interact with new friends.

                    Exchange Program

                    Scouting is world’s largest youth movement and we as its members therefore has a great opportunity to interact with our brother and sisters
                    in Scouting from all parts of the world. We intend to bring this opportunity to your home during this year’s Camporee.
                    We have arranged 4 Cultural Exchange program with 3 being with overseas Scouts from Japan, USA & Taiwan and 1 with Scouts from Jaffna
                    District in Sri Lanka.

                    Educational Objective – Getting exposed to other cultures and people from other parts of the world which will help you in becoming a
                    global citizen
